Ingredients
1 ripe cantaloupe
2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
1 sprig fresh mint
Instructions
Prepare the cantaloupe: Cut the cantaloupe in half. Store one-half in the refrigerator and place the other half in the freezer until completely frozen.
Scoop melon balls: Using a melon baller, scoop round balls from the chilled half. Trim them slightly to form smooth, even spheres.
Create the base: To prevent the bingsu from melting too quickly, spread a thin layer of crushed ice on the serving bowl or plate.
Shave the frozen melon: Take the frozen cantaloupe half and grate it with a cheese grater to create soft, snow-like shavings. Pile the grated melon generously over the ice.
Assemble the bingsu: Arrange the cantaloupe balls around the shaved ice mound for a decorative and textural contrast.
Finish and serve: Drizzle the top with sweetened condensed milk and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint. Serve immediately.
